Our regular term-time Monday afternoon session with a Carers Week twist. We'll be breaking down what rhyming is, picking random words, developing an understanding of rhyme scheme, then structuring those words into lyrical sentences.

Hosted by Owen (art co-ordinator for the Recovery College), this workshop is an opportunity to get creative and express yourself using paint. You will be given inspiration and guidance to make artworks that display a message around the idea of carers appreciation.

Join our new Mayor of Sutton, Cllr Colin Stears and Deputy Mayor Cllr Louise Phelan as they host this reception to honour Carers at the Civic Offices 12-1.30pm. Spaces are limited and subject to availability, so please contact us asap!

The relaxation part of our weekly Relaxation Group will be led by our Wellbeing Navigator Kathryn for Carers Week. As always there will also be time for a cuppa and a catch up too! If you aren't a regular, give us a call or click the link to rsvp.

With a Carers Week theme, this event for professionals will host Rachael MacLeod, Chief Executive of Sutton Carers Centre, Carer, and a proud TfS Partner, as Key Note Speaker.

Meet other carers, make social connections and find out more about Involvement and a wide range of activities that will help with your wellbeing, followed with light refreshments and musical session. 

To help recognise and support carers in the community, SPF are holding an Afternoon Tea, with a selection of finger sandwiches, a warm scone with clotted cream and jam, a selection of finger slices of cakes together with a pot of tea or coffee. Click link for more information.

If you are a Carer in SM3 or SM2 (Cheam), you are invited by your S Sutton & Cheam PCN (Primary Care Network) for a luncheon, activities and social.

Facilitated by Rachel Bell, music therapist in the Wandsworth Arts Psychotherapies Service

Rachel will guide you through a selection of music activities that will encourage connection with yourself and connection with those around you through sound. This group promotes wellbeing whether you have lots of experience playing music, or none at all. No musical skill is required to benefit from this group.

Primary schools are invited to attend this session via Teams to share good practice, ask questions and find out how to support Young Carers.

Some of our Support Team will be running Carer Awareness workshops to the Sutton & Cheam, and then Wallington & Carshalton, Integrated Recovery Hubs (IRH)

Our Support Team are joining other SW London borough Carers Centres to deliver an Information session to mental health professionals across the SWLSTG Trust about Carers Centres and the Triangle of care.
