Could you spend a few hours each month helping to improve the lives of the estimated 18,000 young and adult Carers in Sutton?

Our Chair is retiring, so we are looking to recruit a Chair with energy, drive and fresh ideas to enable change when needed, to complement and lead the Board.

Broad responsibilities:

-ensure the charity’s governance to the highest level and quality

-help secure, maintain and grow our services

-assist in setting our strategic vision and goals and lead the organisation accordingly

-ensure the Management Board, together with the Chief Executive Officer, develops and meets the long-term strategy for the organisation

-support and guide the Chief Executive Officer in achieving the agreed strategic and operational objectives

Would you like to support us in our mission to ensure each and every Carer in Sutton has the support they need to maintain a life of their own alongside their vital caring role?

Are you qualified as a masseuse, reflexologist or ither form of complimentary therapy? We'd love to hear from you if you can volunteer a few hours of your time on a regular basis to provide treatments to Carers.

Help us run valuable groups on a regular basis. If you have experience as a Carer or of facilitating groups, please get in touch.

We have many Carers who would gain from counselling. If you are qualified and can offer a few hours each week to support the wellbeing of Carers, please get in touch.

Might you be available for one off events to help promote Sutton Carers Centre
