Your Wellbeing

The sun is starting to shine and now more than ever, things appear like they may just slowly start to return to some 'normality'...but we recognise that many of you are still shielding and the demands and impacts of caring may be greater than ever.
 

At Sutton Carers Centre, we can offer you information, advice, practical and emotional support. We can also help if you are struggling to access food or are having financial difficulties. We can provide dedicated support to you and your family. 

We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet and no one can foretell the lasting impact it may have. During this uncertainty, our help will continue, help to assist you stay well and care safely.

In particular, are you aware that you can:

  • book your COVID-19 vaccination yourself?

  • access and continue using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)?

  • have access to free lateral flow tests across the community?

How can we help if you are just not feeling yourself?

If you are feeling low or overwhelmed, or perhaps unsure about the future, then please talk to us. We can provide you with mental health support, from informal support groups to more formal counselling - or if you simply just need some time out from your day-to-day duties, then please join our Carers Relaxation Group, Mondays, 10:30am - 12:30pm. Email naomi@suttoncarerscentre.org to join.

Please keep up-to-date with our latest support group and activity dates on our Twitter and Facebook, and please don't forget our SCC 'App' available on the App Store and on Google Play (just search for Sutton Carers Centre).
