Moving and Handling Awareness

OT Hub Manual Handling Coordinator, Sally Cassar, will be joining us for an extended session to raise awareness and offer Carers a chance to ask questions and feel more supported.

This is an opportunity to see simple pieces of equipment and techniques which can help make moving a person easier and safer for all, with advice and tips on supporting people to move and reposition.  Attendees can discuss specific transfers they find most difficult and the adviser will offer ideas and information as to how they can be made easier. 

Suitable for those caring for adults and children.

This is a blended session for those who are not able to attend in person, however we highly recommend you attend this practical session in person if you can.
