Support Groups

To attend a group, check the details on the calendar and RSVP so you can receive reminders and the login details for Zoom sessions. If you don't get a chance to RSVP, you can turn up on the day for most sessions as long as you are registered with us, or just give us a call beforehand to check.

What sessions do we run?

We hold special Wellbeing workshops which must be booked in advance as well as a weekly Relaxation group for a relaxation techniques, followed by tea and a chat. Click 'More' for all scheduled dates.

Join other Dementia Carers on Tuesdays to talk, ask, share and support. This session varies between online and in-person from 11am-12pm, with one evening session each month online from 6.30-7.30pm.

Visit Dementia Carers

Take a break from your caring role to socialise with other Carers in an informal space. These sessions run on Thursdays from 11am-12pm, online (via Zoom) and face to face at Sutton Carers Centre. At the Centre, we invite you for refreshments and optionally to bring along any crafts to help you relax, such as needlework. We can provide wellbeing colouring or drawing pads for you to use while you catch up with other Carers.

We also run regular Wellbeing and invite guest speakers on a variety of topics which are held during Carers Connect Specials (click Talk/Q&A tab or view calendar below).

We offer two groups to give and receive support, share information, experiences and gain advice:

On the first Wednesday of the month 10-11.30am for parents/Carers of young adults with extra needs.
On the third Wednesday of the month 10-11.30am for parents/Carers of children with ADHD/autism/ other extra needs.

This group is for Carers who are supporting a friend or family member who is experiencing a mental health condition. This session runs on a monthly Wednesday, 12.30-2.30pm and is a blended session, so you can attend online or in person.

This group is for male Carers looking for support, connection, and a space to share experiences. We offer a welcoming and understanding environment where men who care for loved ones can come together, talk openly, and support one another.
