Admiral Nurses
Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses who give expert practical, clinical and emotional support to families living with dementia to help them cope. They are registered nurses, and have significant experience of working with people with dementia before becoming an Admiral Nurse. You can contact us for a referral or visit their website for more information.

Walk and talk every Monday evening through central Sutton.
Beddington and Wallington Senior Citizens Club
Are you over 65 and looking to meet new friends? The Beddington & Wallington Senior Citizens Club every Monday (excluding school holidays) meeting at the Guide Hall, Wrights Row, Wallington (off Manor Road, after the Dukes Head Pub. From 10.30 to 2.45pm). This is not a lunch club, but offers sandwiches and soup at a very reasonable price. Members can play cards and games and bingo is played after lunch and they run quizzes and entertainments during the year including a Christmas party. The club is run by volunteers and self funded. It was started in 1947 and we are looking for new members.
Brain and Spine Foundation
There are over 600 known neurological conditions including strokes, head injuries, muscular dystrophy and motor neurone disease (MND). The Brain and Spine Foundation run a range of peer support groups for people affected by neurological conditions and their families and friends. The Neuro Carers group meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 10.30-11.30am online via Zoom.
Childline
Call 0800 1111 to discuss any issues issues causing distress or concern. Childline offers free support to anyone under 19 with any issue they’re going through. Young people can talk about anything, whether it’s something big or small, with trained counsellors. The
childline.org.uk/kids service is aimed at primary aged children.
Chill, chat & Connect Men's Group
Led by male parent volunteers whoa re fathers themselves, come along to meet other dads and male carers and take some time for yourself.

Community Cafe
Join the Community Cafe at Westcroft Leisure Centre for hot drinks, biscuits, board games and a friendly chat.
Curam Care
A UK-based online marketplace that connects people directly with vetted, independent carers, offering flexible hourly, overnight, and live-in care. It provides a platform for personalized, often lower-cost, home care compared to traditional agencies, allowing users to select their own caregivers.
Driving Miss Daisy Wallington
Driving Miss Daisy companion drivers will ensure you arrive at your destination safely, comfortably and on time in our wheelchair accessible vehicles. They can accompany you to medical appointments and take notes, and also offer companionship, playing board games, organise shopping or join you for a stroll. Find out more on the website.
Friends of the Elderly (Cloverdale Court, Wallington) Day Centre
A local Day Centre in Wallington where staff are trained in supporting older people with a range of age related conditions, including short-term memory loss and dementia. Visit the website to find out more and arrange a visit. Transport may be available.
Hidden Disabilities Sunflower
A simple tool to voluntarily share with others that you – or the person you are caring for - has a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent – and that you or they may need a helping hand, understanding, or more time in shops, on transport, or in public spaces.
IPSEA
Independent Provider of Special Education Advice is a charity offering free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including useful template letters to use.
L and L Activities
L&L’s offer a variety of engaging activities designed to cater to individuals who enjoy both independent projects or group work in a friendly atmosphere where adults aged 18 and over with disabilities can connect, make new friends, and engage in a wide range of fun activities. Carers attend free. Activities are refreshed each month to align with the changing seasons and programs are designed to be inclusive and can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant.
Medequip
Medequip Connect is a care technology service provider offering a range of personal alarms and other care equipment to help people stay independent for longer.
