Policy Group (first meeting)

This Policy Group is for anyone with an interest in public policy that effects Carers – i.e., policies relating to welfare benefits, social care, housing, and employment etc. The aim of the group is to ensure that local and national decision makers clearly hear the voices of Carers impacted by their decisions.  We aim to combine ‘technical knowledge’ of welfare benefits and housing etc. with lived experience to influence policies for the benefit of carers and their families.

The Policy Group is Carer led with Carers setting the agenda for the meetings and prioritising the actions that follow from those meetings.
