About the Event
As part of the CARES (Carers Access to Respite and Extending Support) Pilot, we’re hosting this Respite Focus Group, especially at a time to be most accessible to working Carers and Young Adult Carers in education or work, and generally for anyone for whom a daytime session is difficult to attend. Please RSVP and if you are not able to come along to SCC, we'll supply an online link.
Carers play a vital role in helping people live well and independently, but Carers also need support - and for many, respite is one of the most important forms of help. A break might mean an overnight stay for the person you care for, or simply a couple of hours of replacement care so you can rest, attend an appointment or recharge.
