Respite Workshop

As part of the CARES (Carers Access to Respite and Extending Support) Pilot, we’re hosting two Respite Consultations in June, on the 17th in the daytime and on the 30th in the evening, especially for working Carers and Young Adult Carers in education or work, and generally anyone for whom a daytime session is difficult to attend.

Carers play a vital role in helping people live well and independently, but Carers also need support - and for many, respite is one of the most important forms of help. A break might mean an overnight stay for the person you care for, or simply a couple of hours of replacement care so you can rest, attend an appointment or recharge.
