About the Event

Sabrinda, the Long-Term Health Condition Lead at NHS Sutton Talking Therapies (STT), will be joining us to discuss talking therapies tailored for individuals living with chronic health conditions, such as cardiac issues, cancer, chronic pain and respiratory conditions.

STT offer support in areas such as adjusting to the challenges of a condition, managing negative thoughts, and addressing anxiety that often accompanies long-term illness.

Sabrinda's session will offer advice on how you can support the emotional wellbeing of those you care for living with a chronic health condition.  This support can lighten the emotional burden to you and empower individuals to actively engage in their health management plans. She is happy to discuss evidence-based strategies to help you support individuals dealing with hopelessness, low mood, or anxiety related to their health, providing them with practical tools to assist in their caregiving role.  To join us online or in-person,
