Bill passed: Carers Right to Unpaid Leave

The Carers Leave Bill has passed all stages of Parliament, and is just awaiting Royal Assent before becoming law.


The Bill, brought to Parliament last year by Lib Dem MP Wendy Chamberlain, will give those who provide or arrange care, the Right to one week of unpaid leave each year, irrespective of length of service.
