Every Carer Deserves a Break

We’re proud to stand with Carers Trust and unpaid Carers across the UK to demand real change: Proper breaks, not broken promises.  

While MPs head off on summer holidays, millions of unpaid Carers will still be doing what they do every day - supporting family, friends, loved ones - with little to no rest. 

Whether you care for a parent, sibling, friend, or partner, your wellbeing matters too.  Caring should never mean giving up your own health or happiness. 

What is the Protest from Home? The Carers Trust Protest from Home for Carers happened on Tuesday 22nd July, when we took over Parliament Square, calling on the Government to give unpaid carers a legal right to a break.
