Talk Money Week 2026
It's that time of year again when everything turns to money, and in particular the uneasy dance between what we plan to spend and what reality insists we actually do. Budgets tighten, wish lists grow, and suddenly every conversation seems to come with a price tag attached. It’s a lot - and it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed by it!
That’s exactly why Talk Money Week 2026 matters so much. Money isn’t just numbers on a page; it affects our stress levels, our relationships, our sleep, and our sense of security. When things feel tight, it can weigh on both our mental and physical health. And when we don’t talk about it, that weight only gets heavier.
This year, the theme is Get Sutton Saving - not in a strict or judgmental way, but in a supportive, practical, community‑driven way. Whether you’re trying to stretch your income a little further, understand what help is available, or simply get more confident managing day‑to‑day finances, you’re not alone.
Sutton has an incredible network of organisations ready to help, and more than 30 local services are coming together under one roof to make that support easier to find.
From Monday 2nd November to Friday 6th November, there is a full programme of workshops, drop‑ins, conversations, and friendly faces who genuinely want to help you feel more in control of your money. Think of it as a week dedicated to taking the pressure off - a chance to ask questions, share experiences, and pick up tools that can make a real difference.
Whether you’re dealing with rising bills, planning ahead, or just trying to make sense of it all, this is your space.
No judgement. No stigma. Just community, support, and practical guidance.
