Calling ALL Young Adult Carers!

Introducing Munch & Meet, an all new session for Young Adult Carers aged 18-25! For too long YACs have been a gap in our target demographics but that's FINALLY about to change. Spearheaded by our new addition to the team, Matt is going to breathe new life into this area of the service starting with Munch & Meet. This is a chance to meet up, eat, and play games with other YACs but also exclusively for the this pilot session the floor will be open to discuss the future of activities here at SCC specifically for 18-25s.

Matt already has so many ideas for upcoming sessions such as social meet ups outside the centre, watch parties / movie nights, pottery painting or other arts and crafts workshops, music events and listening parties at the centre, karaoke, Uni study groups and get togethers, Uni open day visits, adult laser tag, games nights with either boardgames or video games, and then some other ones that are more focused on direct support like 1-1 sessions to talk about whatever you like and group peer support.

None of those tickle your fancy? No worries, let's come up with something even better! This is all about you guys and what you want from these sessions. So just show up at the centre on the 5th of May from 17:30 - 19:00 for pizza, games, and to help shape the future of YAC socials.
