If you are providing care during the Christmas season, use this post to learn about resources and activities available throughout the festive period.
Remember, our Carers Kitchen is a welcoming 'warm space' which you cane visit any time during our opening hours.
Over the Christmas period, SCC will be closed for one day on December 12th and then on Wednesday December 24th through to 10am on Monday January 5th 2026.

Springfield Village's Annual Christmas tree-lighting ceremony is on Thursday December 4th evening.
The event will take place from 4pm, with lights on at 4.45pm at ToastStores (the Springfield Park café, SW17 0SL) near the site's Burntwood Lane entrance - a new venue for this year's event.
In aid of the Trust charity, the event will bring singing, mince pies and festive celebrations to Springfield Village, joined by Fircroft Primary School choir and carol singers from local community groups. A beautifully lit Christmas tree will take pride of place in Springfield Park.
Springfield Village is a new stigma-breaking landscape centred around modern NHS mental health facilities, more than 1,200 new homes, a new public square, shops and a 32-acre public park. This eagerly awaited event will give NHS staff, patients and members of the community a chance to gather around the tree for a fun-filled evening of festivities.
