Avoid flu - Get a jab!

Caring is hard enough without trying to manage or worrying because you are not able to care through illness.

NHS leaders are warning that every vaccination matters, especially for older people, those with long-term conditions, and 2-3-year-olds. It is important that as many people as possible are vaccinated before the end of December. If people wait until after the peak, they will miss their best chance to protect themselves and others.

During the season, please also make sure you:

• Please attend your appointment unless told otherwise.

• If unsure what to do, visit 111.nhs.uk.

• For life-threatening emergencies, call 999.

• GP surgeries and pharmacies remain open.

• Mental health help is available via 111 (choose the mental-health option).
