Hamilton Inspired

Leading up to Young Carers Action Day 2024, we headed to town for a special celebratory trip to the theatre. As we stepped into the world of Hamilton, we were in for a treat! This amazing hip hop musical showed us how people can be strong, determined, and come together, with fates literally dependent on the strength of the written or spoken word.

It was like magic! We forgot all about our everyday responsibilities and got lost in the exciting story and awesome music. The actors had us hooked with their storytelling and the catchy beats had us nodding heads and tapping feet.

This year, Young Carers Action Day is all about making sure Young Carers like us have fair chances for our futures. Hamilton was perfect, reflecting similarities from our own lives in Alexander Hamilton's story. Just like him, we face challenges and have moments of triumph. Seeing his resilience inspired us to keep going, no matter what.

Hamilton didn't just entertain us; it made us believe in ourselves even more. We left the theatre feeling hopeful and excited about what's to come. We know now that our stories matter and that we can make a difference. So, with renewed determination, we're ready to take on whatever comes our way!
