To close off all our events around #YCAD24 we’d like to give a massive thank you to Sutton Mayor Councillor Colin Stears, for hosting the second Young Carers exclusive event. Accompanying the Mayor in the parlour was the Deputy Mayor, Louise Phelan, previous Mayor of Sutton, Sue Stears and Councillor Marian James.
Nonsuch High School for girls, Abbey Primary, Oaks Park, Devonshire Primary and Foresters Primary attended and were given a warm welcome. We shared our personal stories, tucked in to cupcakes and celebrated the hard work our Young Carers do each day.
