Crafting Confidence

This May half term, we stepped behind the screen and discovered the magic of shadow puppetry! ✨

Led by expert puppeteer Karensa, we explored storytelling through imaginative games, playful scenarios, and plenty of creative teamwork. From silly improvised moments to bringing characters to life, everyone had the chance to share ideas and build confidence together.

Using crafting materials, card, and lots of imagination, we designed and created our own shadow puppet characters before working in groups to write scripts and perform original stories. It was amazing to see how light, shadows, and creativity could transform simple ideas into exciting performances! 🎭
