We had an excellent Young Carers Action Day celebrating our Young Carers incredible achievements and resilience towards supporting their relatives. This years theme #FairerfuturesforYoungCarers, shaped a week of full of activities which shared the many voices of our Young Carers. Monday we had a special Rap Therapy session in Chill & Learn. We wrote raps and poems expressing what we felt was important for others/professionals/friends to know about the caring that we do. Tuesd

Our Neurodiverse Sibling Group  was really well attended and created a warm, relaxed space to learn together. We kept things light and easy to understand, and some Young Carers even recognised and shared traits we talked about that neurodiverse people may experience. It was a really positive session that helped build understanding and confidence. Afterwards, we enjoyed an afternoon of anime magic with Kiki’s Delivery Service , which our Young Carers rated 4/5! We sprung into the new year by teaming up with @cheamandsuttonrotary  to take a group of our amazing Young Carers to the Epsom Playhouse for the Aladdin pantomime. 🎭 From our front-row seats, we were completely swept up in the energy and iconic characters like the Genie and Wishy Washy .
