Sutton Carers Centre is on the move!

We are excited to confirm the details for Sutton Carers Centre's Big Move!

On the April 25th, we will commence relocation to larger premises on the 1st floor of 'Sutton Gate', 1 Carshalton Road, Sutton, SM1 4LE, where we look forward to welcoming you from May 6th 2025 at 10am.

This is the site of the old Encompass office, before their teams moved back into the Civic Offices and current home to Age UK Sutton and Sutton Housing Partnership.

We will have a separate entrance right under the '1 Sutton Gate' sign. You can then take the lift or stairs to find us on the 1st Floor.

There will be some service variations during the period of our move, but we will try to keep closures to a minimum.  Most days when we can't welcome you in person, we will keep our phone lines open, even if for slightly shorter hours. Some activities may be physically re-located, moved online, or paused for a few weeks. But we do need a few days of complete closure to get everything set up and running for you again. Please wish us luck that everything runs to plan!

Check our calendar for activity details, dates of closure and service variation during our move after the Easter break and leading up to the May Bank Holiday weekend. Bear with us whilst we update the calendar to show in-person activities at our new home as they may still show the Benhill address for a while. Groups will not meet at Benhill House after April 17th, but if you are uncertain or have any questions just get in touch.

We have been based on Benhill Avenue for over 30 years (since inception) so we would love to see you as we raise a glass to all the Carers, staff, volunteers and other partners who have passed through its doors.

Can you help?

If you have any ideas or perhaps know someone who may wish to donate items to make the Centre as welcoming and impactful as possible for Young and Adult Carers - from new chairs to laptops to a coffee machine! - please do get in touch. 

There will be a new and larger reception area as well as a social area for Carers in addition to our drop-in, meeting and office rooms. We can't wait to show you around!
