What's on at the new Dementia Hub?

Updated: Sep 26

The Dementia Hub supports people before, during and after they have a diagnosis of any type of Dementia. Michelle Blagrove from Age UK helps explain here...

When you get in touch, Age UK and the Admiral Nurse team will consider how best to support your dementia journey, and direct you to various services.

Sutton’s Dementia Support service offers people with dementia and those that care for them:

  • A central point of access to help you to manage your diagnosis and enable you to connect with local support more effectively

  • A Dementia Adviser service offering information and advice to enable you to live well with dementia

  • Timely access to support you on diagnosis, throughout your dementia journey and as things change

  • Access to regular monthly facilitated peer support to gain support from peers, learn strategies and share experiences from others in a similar situation.

You can find out about Age UK Sutton's Dementia Support Service here.
