Looking for ways to connect, learn, and feel supported? Get involved with Preparing for Adulthood Hub activities, June 22-26th at the Sutton Life Centre
The Preparation for Adulthood Hub has a fantastic line-up of inclusive and welcoming sessions designed for young people with SEND and their families.
Here’s what’s happening:
Monday 22 June | 6–8pm | £5
Social with The Fantastic Freddie Foundation
Shake off the Monday blues and kick-start your week in a relaxed, friendly environment. This social evening is all about having fun, meeting friends, and enjoying good company. Whether you’re catching up with familiar faces or making new connections, it’s the perfect way to unwind.
Wednesday 24 June | 3–5pm | Free
Sexual Health Drop-in with Check It Out
This confidential and supportive drop-in session offers a safe space for young people with SEND to access advice, ask questions, and get information about sexual health. The team from Check It Out are friendly, approachable, and there to help - no pressure, just support when you need it.
Friday 26 June | 10am–12pm | Free
Parent Coffee Morning
Parents and Carers are warmly invited to come along for a relaxed morning of conversation and connection. This month features Sutton Carers Centre (us!) and the Independent Travel Training Team, who will be sharing information about their services. It’s a great opportunity to meet other parents, ask questions, and learn what support is available.
