YCs on Scene!

We had an amazing Drama workshop in partnership with Create 🎭✨

The brilliant drama artist Darren led our Young Carers through a range of immersive activities and interactive games that had us on our feet, fully engaged, and expressing our ideas through movement and action 💫

Of course, Marcel the Engagement and Support Worker was out in the very first round during classics like Zip Zap Boing and Bunny Bunny 😂 He really took “break a leg” to a whole new level — launching into an expressive Zippa Zippa Pow, landing badly… but hilariously! 🤣👏

Our Young Carers bonded beautifully, learning new things about each other when they brought and shared something special to them 💛 But the real highlight was when they paired up to discover fun facts about one another, then introduced each other to the audience during an incredible showcase 🌟

Their brilliant achievements throughout the workshop were inspired by this year’s #YoungCarersActionDay theme — #FairFuturesForYoungCarers 💙 We’ll be celebrating them and everything they’ve accomplished on Young Carers Action Day with Create… and we can’t wait! 🎉🙌
