We are delighted to invite you to our Annual Review: Shaping Change taking place on Friday 27th November, 2026 at Sutton Civic Offices, running from 12noon to 1.15pm.

This special event, will be an opportunity to reflect on the past year or so, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to the exciting opportunities and developments that will help shape our future.

We look forward to sharing inspiring stories, highlighting our impact, and recognising the collective efforts that continue to make a difference across our communities.

Carers can face significant challenges so we also will be calling for more recognition, respect and support for caring families.

This year’s Annual Review is held in memory of Marian James, the first staff member and Chief Officer of Sutton Carers Centre. Marian’s fierce commitment to unpaid Carers shaped the very core of our charity - a mission that continues to this day - and it was a passion she carried forward throughout her time as a local Councillor and community champion.

At the Review, we will take a moment to honour Marian’s lasting legacy, her unique spirit, and the profound impact she had on countless families and colleagues. Our thoughts remain with her husband Mike, whom she met through the Carers Centre, her wider family, and all who knew her.

Following the Annual Review, you are warmly invited to join us for an informal buffet lunch from 1.15pm to 2.15pm, to connect with fellow Carers, colleagues, partners, supporters and friends. Head straight off, or stay for the duration. And if you can’t make the Review, you are still welcome to pop in over lunch. Please don’t be shy!

We'll round off the day with the formal business of our Annual General Meeting (AGM) from 2.15pm to 3.00pm, if you care to stay on.
