Talks are bring held by M2M Community Solicitors LLP on a number of useful topics.

 

Details of these talks can be found on their website and Facebook page and are open to all (though spaces are limited). The talks last approximately one hour, followed by a question and answer session on the subject being discussed on that day.


The sessions are not recorded and attendees are not permitted to record the talks.

Monday 20 October 2025 at 11am – Lasting Powers of Attorney 

 

Register here - This talk covers the formalities needed for Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) and the different considerations through the applications based on different circumstances. Not everyone needs an LPA and this talk should identify the circumstances. 

 

 

Tuesday 21 October 2025 at 11am  – Court of Protection  

 

Register here - This talk covers the circumstances of when a person needs deputyship and when they should not need it especially in relation to property and financial affairs. If it is needed, then the general process which needs to be followed. 

 

  

Wednesday 22 October  2025 at 11am – Wills  

 

Register here - This talk covers the formalities needed for a valid Will and what needs to be considered so you do not need to keep re-doing your Will. Many people think that they know everything needed for a valid Will however, there are many issues which are not considered but will be covered in this talk. 

 

  

Thursday 23 October 2025 at 11am - Probate 

 

Register here - This talk will cover the general process for probate. 

 

 

Friday 24 October at 11am – Community Care Matters including care fees

 

Register here - This talk will cover community care matters including information about care fees and possible challenges to care fees.

Legal Update

 

The registration fees for Lasting Power of Attorneys will be increasing from £82 each to £92 each on 17th November 2025. If you want a Lasting Power of Attorney, it is worth you considering to do this before the registration increase to save money.
